Psychology is the fascinating science that deals with the study of the mind and human behaviour.
Every day we undergo a great number of emotions, feelings and thoughts, which can help us face situations or make them more difficult.
Understanding how we react to different situations, what drives our emotions and decisions, or identifying the reasons for underlying anxiety can help us to better manage our daily lives.
Whether this be unexpected events, experiencing happiness, anxiety, frustration or sadness psychology helps us to attribute meanings to these emotions.
Most of the students who choose to enrol in the Faculty of Psychology do so for their own life experience and growth, linked to particular and personal motivations. There are many testimonies of those who have already made the choice or having completed their studies. Many choose psychology because they need answers.
What distinguishes us most is our personality.
What we have in our head and the human mind is something amazing and wonderful.
Others choose to study a degree in psychology because they wish to help others, and when they do, it feels they have found their true vocation. Studying a degree in psychology provides the tools to be able to do this.
If your dream is to study psychology, but you do not have the financial means and you are not able to support university expenses, you can apply for one of the scholarships offered by NCIUL to fulfil these dreams.
